Pakiri Character Villa Exterior Restoration | Half Lemongrass & Rawene Finish
This historic weatherboard villa, relocated to Pakiri as a cottage bach, required full exterior restoration. Established rot in the boards and joinery was carefully removed and repaired, and completely painted-over soakars were replaced with stainless steel to function as both protection and feature detailing. Hinges and hardware were stripped of old paint and units planed to restore smooth operation.
The exterior was then finished in Resene Half Lemongrass on the walls, Rawene gloss on the front door and fascia, and Sea Fog on the soffits. The result is a fully restored, polished character villa that combines heritage charm with durable, high-quality finishes.
