Our Story
Sam grew up in Avalon on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, working on prestigious waterfront homes and high-end residential builds. He completed his trade qualification there, learning the level of preparation and finish required in premium real estate. He later became green accredited, building knowledge around non-toxic systems and environmentally responsible product choices. Growing up surfing and living by the ocean shaped his respect for the environment and the way he approaches his work.
Bianca trained in Fine Arts at Elam School of Fine Arts, graduating with Honours. She grew up around construction - her family runs a multi generational construction company in central Auckland - and much of her childhood was spent on renovation sites. She first learned to paint while working in the family business. Her background brings a strong understanding of colour, detail and how a home comes together as a whole.
We met through a shared passion for gardening and connecting with nature. The Matakana Coast inspires us every day - and we feel strong environmental responsibility to operate as sustainably as possible. We opt for sustainable, locally made products, use non-toxic options wherever possible, reduce waste and single use products and process our waste water.
We are passionate about raising the standard in the painting and decorating industry, and built our business together with the intention to offer better choices in the trades industry.
