Book a free quote
We quote almost every job in person. After a site visit, we’ll send you an accurate, fully itemised quote.
Our Process
1. Fill out the form below. We'll reply within 2 working days. Prefer to talk first? Contact us.
2. Site visit. We arrange a time to see the property, which usually takes 30 - 60 minutes.
3. You receive your quote. Within 5 working days of the visit, you'll receive an itemised quote: scope of work, estimated hours, materials at cost, timeframe, exclusions, and anything we've noticed that could affect the job.
4. You decide. If you go ahead, we confirm a start date and send a welcome pack covering access, preparation, payment and who to contact on site.

Yes, quotes are free and there's no obligation. We visit every job before quoting except very small ones, where photos may be enough or new builds under construction, because we want to see the surfaces, their condition and the access ourselves. It's also your chance to ask questions and talk through what you'd like.
-
We reply to enquiries within 1-2 working days and arrange a time to visit. You'll have your itemised quote within 5 working days of the visit. Larger or more complex jobs can take longer, and we'll tell you if that's the case.
-
Every quote is itemised: a line-by-line breakdown of the work, estimated hours, materials at actual cost, the timeframe, exclusions, and any risks we've spotted on site. The price can change if the scope does, or if we find something under the surface, like rot behind old paint. If that happens, we'll tell you what we've found and agree any change with you before going ahead.
-
Quotes are valid for 30 days. Start dates depend on the season and weather, especially for exterior work, so we'll give you a realistic window with your quote.
-
Yes. We protect floors, furniture and surrounding areas, keep the work area contained, and leave the site tidy at the end of each day. On the visit, tell us about pets, children and anyone working from home, so we can plan around them.
-
Once you accept the quote, we send a welcome pack covering access, preparation, payment and who to contact on site. In short: clear small items and valuables from the work areas, tell us about alarms, pets and access, and have your colours decided before the start date.
-
No. You can choose after the quote, but colours need to be confirmed before we start so we can order paint and plan the coats. If you're unsure, we can talk through options on the visit. Paint names, swatches or photos of colours you like all help.

Our own team, led by Sam on site. The welcome pack tells you who'll be there and who to call. You don't need to be home during the day as long as we have access.
-
Tell us. Anything that comes up within 12 months that's our responsibility, we fix at no cost. We also review the finished work with you and check in afterwards.
-
We invoice weekly, for the hours worked for the preceding week. Invoices are due one week from issue. The welcome pack sets out payment details before we start.
-
Yes. We use natural, plant-based oils and finishes where a job suits, and low-VOC paints for most painted surfaces. We choose per job and explain why. You can read more on our Services page.

We're based in Matakana and work across Rodney and the wider Auckland region. We take on commercial work such as offices, retail and managed properties, and new builds for builders and renovators. Tell us about the project in your enquiry.

The earlier the better! Early enough to plan access, preparation and timing around the other trades, ideally before the plastering and finishing dates are set. Good planning avoids delays and makes handover smoother.
