Leigh Weatherboard Villa Restoration & Colour change

This relocated villa required a comprehensive exterior restoration. The original lime green, chalky paint system was failing, with rot present in timber joinery, weatherboards and fascia. We carried out full remedial works including rot treatment, reglazing, facilitating building repairs to rotten shingles, and safe removal of the problematic lead-based undercoat system.

The home was then carefully sealed with a solid double undercoat and finished in Resene Sea Fog throughout, creating a clean, timeless exterior. The front door was completed in Aalto Stowaway, adding a refined feature contrast. The result is a fully restored villa with lasting protection and a premium, cohesive finish.

“Sam, Bianca and the team have just completed an external repaint of our weatherboard villa and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. From the initial consultation through to completion, we found the whole team to be thoughtful, careful, considerate and professional. Everyone was great to deal with and super respectful of our home. We were particularly impressed by the degree to which they were mindful of the budget we set, finding solutions without cutting corners. Great communication and thoughtful interaction throughout the whole process. We would absolutely recommend Better House Painters to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.”
